What is Sustainability?

Sustainability means, meeting our own needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. When developing a new fashion brand it was important to us to do it in a sustainable way. We did a lot of research to find the right suppliers to ensure they had the same brand values as us.

Organic cotton

Our T-Shirts are 100% GOTS certified organic cotton sourced from India, grown and produced in ways that do not harm people, animals or the environment. To obtain a  GOTS 'organic' label, a product must: Contain at least 95% organic fiber. Not be treated with bleach, formaldehyde or any other toxic substances. Ethically sourced

Our supplier works closely with the Fair Wear Foundation (FWF) and the have been attributed 'Leader' status by FWF certifying that they are using best practices in complex area's such as freedom of association. They also have a number of mechanisms in place to ensure decent working conditions, such as an internal code of conduct, monthly reports and daily visits to their partner factories. Printed in the UK

Our UK printers use use Direct-to-Garment (DGT) printing inks that are water based, GOTS certified organic and Oeko-Tex certified. The inks score highly on AATCC wash test, showing that they are fully washable at 30 degrees and durable unlike many of the cheaper DTG setups.

Packaging

Our packaging either made from recycled materials or recyclable. The plastic posting bag is made from 50% consumer recycled waste polythene and is Oxo-Biodegradable. Our reason for using a plastic bag for posting is to protect your order from getting wet and in most cases it will go through your letter box rather than being left on the doorstep.
